We are excited to announce that a draft of the Denver Food Vision is now available for your comments! The Denver Food Vision seeks to articulate a 15-year, aspirational direction and key winnable goals for Denver’s food system. It is based on the ideas and dreams you and hundreds of others shared with us through the 22 community and industry engagement events we held (along with 92 event co-sponsors!) earlier this year. The Vision is the first part of the two part Denver Food Plan. Part two is the Denver Food Action Plan 2020 which will be released in mid-2017. The Denver Food Action Plan will outline the specific projects the city will undertake with community partners to further the Vision by the year 2020.

The Draft Denver Food Vision will be presented and discussed at two public engagement events hosted by the Office of Economic Development on January 12th, 2017. The Draft Vision and more information about the public engagement events is available online at www.denvergov.org/foodplan. Please review the draft and take the following survey to tell us what you think! If you have other comments/suggestions not captured in the survey please email us at DenverFoodPlan@denvergov.org
