Introduction

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. This survey is part of two planning efforts the Denali Borough is undertaking simultaneously and your responses will inform both.

The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is a community-driven five-year plan for economic development in the Denali Borough (this includes all communities, entities, businesses and residents in the borough). The CEDS will identify the borough's economic strengths, challenges, and opportunities to help guide economic decisions. The Borough is contracting with Agnew::Beck Consulting to help with this effort.

The Housing Needs Assessment and Action Plan is a parallel effort supported by the Minnesota Housing Partnership (MHP), a nonprofit organization that provides technical assistance. MHP's work will document housing needs across Borough communities and develop an action plan.

Housing is one of the most significant factors shaping the borough’s economic future, and both efforts are asking similar questions about what residents need to live and thrive here; therefore, the two project teams are coordinating their outreach.
