Deaf Space Project Survey
Introduction
The Deaf Space Project
We have a Deaf Space Project to explore Deaf Spaces in Australia and beyond. First of all, what is Deaf Space?
Deaf Space can be where Deaf people come together to share, celebrate Deaf culture and to shape spaces that work for us
We adjust spaces to suit Deaf people, we move vases off tables, we provide tactile/visual information, and we pin speakers on Zoom. All these happen in Deaf Space! Deaf Space happens both face-to-face at festivals and clubs and online in our digital spaces.
We would like you to help us identify what makes great Deaf Spaces and how we can grow them! Imagine more Deaf events, more connections, more learning and creating spaces where Deaf culture and community can thrive!
The Deaf Space Survey has 22 questions, and will take 20 minutes to complete.
You have the option to enter our prize draw to win a Casetify 'Meet You There' cardholder phone stand by Gonketa at the end of the survey, we are giving away FIVE cardholder phone stands!
The survey data will be used to create a report about Deaf Space for Deaf Connect and will be shared with the public to help strengthen our Deaf community and our future spaces.
