This fall, the Data Roots Student Development Series will guide students through a mix of professional skills and technical training—from mastering interviews to applying machine learning. Each session is rooted in real-world experiences and designed to help students turn local stories into regional impact. The goal: to equip future leaders with the confidence, creativity, and data-driven tools to thrive beyond the classroom.

Structure
- Fall 2025 Series: Four monthly themes
- Sessions: 4 workshops per theme, held weekly (dates/times TBD)
- Format: Interactive, skill-building, and community-focused
Monthly Themes
- September – Soft Skills: Interviewing, public speaking, presentations, and networking
- October – Python & Machine Learning (Part 2): Building on coding and ML foundations
- November – Chatbot & App Development: Designing practical, user-centered tools
- December – Data for Social Impact: Using data to drive change in communities
