IAPH Member Survey - ISPS Code

The International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) Risk and Resilience Technical Committee is seeking the views of its members on whether, and how, member states of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) should amend or revise the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

The survey responses will be analysed collectively and will inform the development of an IAPH Information Paper for consideration by the IMO Maritime Safety Committee (MSC), as requested by the Secretariat.

The objective is to develop a clear, evidence-based port industry perspective on the future development of the ISPS Code, and any supporting guidelines, including its ability to address current and emerging security risks.

We particularly welcome practical examples and specific recommendations. Please answer from the perspective of the port or port industry organisation you represent.

The survey comprises a total of 18 short questions. Estimated completion time: 15-20 minutes.

Individual responses will not be attributed to respondents in the Information Paper unless agreed.
