Sunnyvale East Channel Trail Study: Phasing Preference Survey

The City of Sunnyvale is studying the addition of a shared-use trail for walking and biking along the East Channel. The trail would start at the San Francisco Bay Trail in the north and go south to Homestead Road. This survey focuses on how you would phase construction of the trail based on cost, complexity, and other considerations. We ask you to rank the top three zones that you would want built first.

Survey Instructions
1) Zone Information: Look over the map and read through the potential construction zones information to best inform how you would phase their construction.
2) Ranking Question: Rank your top three zones in order of construction priority.
3) Reasoning: Let us know why you chose the way you did.

The survey will remain open until August 30, 2026.

At this stage, we are developing conceptual design options and potential phasing strategies.
