FY26 John F. Conway Distinguished Service Award

The John F. Conway Distinguished Service Award honors MASBO members for their success in supporting their District's educational goals. Examples of accomplishments include facility maintenance programs, increasing school lunch participation, energy conservation efforts, partnerships with private companies, improved transportation systems, or streamlining classroom material orders and deliveries. MASBO is grateful for its partnership with KenMark Office Systems, Inc., a Visual Edge Technology Company, for making this award possible in memory of MASBO's first Executive Director. Nominations can be submitted by anyone who can confirm the nominee's achievements and self-nominations are also invited. The recipient receives a tangible memento, a press release highlighting their achievement, recognition in the MASBO Notebook, presentation at a mutually convenient School Committee meeting, and a $1500 check to the District. The award is conferred at a mutually agreeable time, preferably at the Annual Institute, and winners may each bring one guest at no charge. Board members must wait until at least one year after their term ends to be considered, and Selection Committee Members are not eligible.
