Application
The Friend of MASBO Award honors individuals who have made a significant contribution, such as supporting the legislative process, creating a model program, or setting an exemplary standard that helps school business officials support student education; and/or have consistently provided long-term support to MASBO in fulfilling its mission; and/or have gone above and beyond in assisting MASBO. MASBO is grateful to U.S. Omni & TSACG for their partnership in making this award possible. Nominations can be submitted by anyone who can confirm the nominee's achievements and self-nominations are also invited. A maximum of three awards may be given each year, depending on the quality of nominations. Recipients receive a tangible memento, recognition in a press release, a letter to the recipient’s leadership, and recognition in the MASBO Notebook. Awards are conferred at a mutually agreeable time, preferably at the Annual Institute, and winners may each bring one guest at no charge. Board members must wait at least one year after their term ends to be considered, and Selection Committee Members are not eligible.
