The City of El Cerrito is developing a Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) which looks at traffic safety on our local street network. As a part of that process, we want to hear about your traffic safety priorities. Visit the project website to learn more.

This survey is expected to take 6 minutes. Fill it out completely to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $50 Barnes & Noble or Trader Joe's gift card.

Speeds & Fatal and Severe Injuries: Speeding is a common factor in crashes, particularly ones that result in fatal or severe injury. In particular, the risk of a fatal or severe injury for people walking/rolling and biking is significantly higher when struck by vehicles at higher speeds.

Vision Zero recognizes that everyone deserves safer streets. The movement works toward safe mobility within communities by eliminating fatal and severe traffic injuries. Vision Zero cities commit to developing a plan or strategy to achieve this goal and to engaging key city departments including public works, police, recreation, and community development.
