NHS Dumfries and Galloway have asked Sleeping Giants, a local social enterprise, to engage with ethnic minority staff members. This engagement gives staff the opportunity to share their experiences of working in the NHS.
Sleeping Giants is completely independent to NHS Dumfries and Galloway and their work challenges injustice and promotes equity, inclusion and human rights.
We'd like to hear from all ethnic minority staff, this includes:
- NHS Dumfries and Galloway employees, trainees, GPs and other primary care staff
- Dumfries and Galloway Council employees who work in the Health and Social Care Partnership
The more staff we hear from, the better our understanding of workplace experiences will be. NHS Dumfries and Galloway will use the findings to help develop a new Anti-Racism Plan. The findings will also be used by the Ethnic Minority Staff Network to continue their work to promote equality and inclusion within the NHS.
This survey is one of the ways ethnic minority staff can tell us about their experiences.
