DARK Enterprises Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cybersecurity education, is pleased to announce the DARK Endowment Cybersecurity Scholarship for high school seniors planning to major in cybersecurity or a related field.

This $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to deserving students who are US citizens, demonstrate passion for cybersecurity, academic preparation, and a commitment to contributing to the field.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be:
  • US Citizens
  • Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted into an accredited undergraduate cybersecurity program or closely related field at a U.S. college or university.

Students should demonstrate academic preparedness, genuine interest in cybersecurity through extracurricular activities or self-directed learning, and a strong work ethic.

  • Copy of your High School Transcript (unofficial is acceptable)
  • Copy of your College Admission letter/notification
  • Cybersecurity activities document or resume to include, but not limited to, cybersecurity competitions, clubs, camps, certifications, self-directed learning, volunteer work or internships

Personal Statements. In the application, you must provide 3 statements addressing:
  • Why do you want to study cybersecurity (500-750 words)
  • A description of your academic background and preparation for college-level cybersecurity (250-500 words)
  • Evidence of work ethic and dedication to leadership roles (250-500 words)

Recommendations. You must provide the names of 2 adults (not relatives) who will submit letters of recommendation on your behalf. Instruct your recommenders to directly email the letters to Dr. Melissa Dark, melissa.dark@darkenterprisesinc.com

Other Requested Information. You must provide the name of your school, the name of your school counselor, your email address, home address, phone number, expected graduation date, and name of college or university.
