About the Duane D. Walker Award

Duane D. Walker, RN, MS, FAAN, was a visionary nurse leader, nationally recognized as a dynamic speaker and author. He is remembered for his commitment to mentoring aspiring nursing executives as well as his dedication to AONL-Hawaii.

This award recognizes a registered nurse who has provided leadership in advancing the profession of nursing over a span of years. Please provide examples of how the nominee has significantly contributed to nursing at the state and/or national level.
