Environmental Element Policies for the Yavapai County Comprehensive Plan

This anonymous survey was created by Keep Sedona Beautiful, and is intended to give residents of Yavapai County an opportunity to express their opinions and indicate their priorities regarding the “Environmental Element” of the update to the County’s Comprehensive Plan. By law the County must include a section in their Comprehensive Plan covering the Environment. The law states: "The comprehensive plan shall be made with the general purpose of guiding and accomplishing a coordinated, adjusted, and harmonious development of the area of jurisdiction pursuant to the present and future needs of the county. The comprehensive plan shall be developed so as to conserve the natural resources of the county, to ensure efficient expenditure of public monies and to promote the health, safety, convenience, and general welfare of the public."
