About the Masterclass

The 2026 ANZUP Bladder Cancer Masterclass is a 1.5-day workshop designed to support trainees and early-career specialists in developing clinical trial ideas in bladder cancer.

Convened by Dickon Hayne and Andrew Weickhardt, the program will feature expert-led sessions focused on:
Trial design
Clinical trial grant opportunities and grant submissions
Trial coordination processes
Current trends in bladder cancer clinical trials research
Review of trials with rich datasets to explore future applications and support idea development

Who should apply
Applications are open to ANZUP members in Australia and New Zealand, with two places available for ANZUP members based overseas.
The program is intended for trainees and junior specialists (within the first 5–7 years of practice) in:
Urology
Radiation oncology
Medical oncology
Nuclear medicine
Imaging

Successful applicants will be supported to attend this exciting initiative.

Registration fee: $250
This includes flights and one night’s accommodation for attendees travelling from outside the Northern Territory, plus dinner on Thursday evening.
