The Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD receives Title I funds to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable and high quality education, and to close educational gaps. Title I funds can be used for additional staff salaries, supplies and resources, professional development, parent and family engagement activities, and additional resources that are provided by the district. The Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD receives Title II funds to increase student achievement by improving educator quality and increase the number of effective educators. These funds also provide all students greater access to effective educators through professional development, educational consultants, recruitment of teachers and principals, district and campus planning, and understanding state accountability. The Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD receives Title III funds to support Bilingual/ESL students to attain English proficiency and develop high levels of academic achievement in English. This includes professional development, language acquisition software, and classroom materials.
