Introduction
A large-scale European survey on how AI is impacting the work in the Media, Arts & Entertainment sector is currently underway. As part of that survey, Dutch union Kunstenbond and French union SPIAC are reaching out to the animation professionals in their respective memberships to find out how AI is affecting their work and where the opportunities and threats lie. Sectoral unions want to support animation professionals in the best way in a changing landscape - your input can really help us to do that.
This survey is being carried out in the framework of a wider piece of research into this topic by the European Trade Unions in the Media, Arts and Entertainment sector, with the financial support of the European Commission. Results will be published and shared by Kunstenbond and SPIAC early in 2026.
