Awards for Excellence recognize outstanding individuals, public entity pools and others who showcase the very best and brightest of pooling.

Eligibility for the Leadership Award

The Award for Excellence in Leadership is for a person who is directly affiliated with a pool. The Leadership Award honors:

  • Transformative leadership
  • Actions that played a pivotal role in resolving challenges faced by a pool
  • Mentorship and helping develop others
  • Exceptional professional development in areas related to public pooling

Nominees must be employed by or contracted for service specifically to a pool and affiliated with their specific AGRiP member pool for the last three or more consecutive years. Similarly, the pool must have been in operation for three or more consecutive years.

Nominations must be made by an employee of an AGRiP member. You will be asked to provide two reference letters (from people other than the nominator) and an image of the nominee. Submit all nomination materials by 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025.
