Community Survey

This survey is open to residents of the Noosa and Sunshine Coast local government areas. This survey will close at midnight on Sunday 31st October 2021.

As a resident of Noosa or Sunshine Coast local government area, you are invited to share your opinions on
  • how you view climate change
  • how you view local and regional climate change-related impacts and consequences
  • how you consider your need to be prepared for and take local action regarding climate change.
This survey is part of a commitment by the Noosa and Sunshine Coast Councils to proactively plan for the future needs of their communities.

Together, the Councils are creating a Regional Climate Action Roadmap (the roadmap) to guide, inform and build regional capacity to develop and prioritise local responses to climate-related risks such as bushfires, floods, and droughts.

The information will help the Councils understand and raise the level of climate risk awareness in the community and advocate to other levels of government.

The survey is voluntary and responses are anonymous. We do not collect information that could identify you, such as your name, email address or IP address. Please be advised however that SurveyMonkey stores the survey responses on servers located outside of Australia.

The survey should take approximately 10-12 minutes to complete.
