In early 2020, Clark County launched a major, multi-year effort called Transform Clark County. The process will establish a cohesive, countywide vision for the future of the County and a defined strategy to achieve that vision. This effort will include a complete rewrite of Clark County’s key policy and regulatory documents—the Master Plan and Development Code. The updated Master Plan will serve as a policy guide for the growth and physical development of Clark County over the coming decades and will inform subsequent updates to the Development Code.

This questionnaire is the second of four major input opportunities planned as part of the Transform Clark County process, and focuses on the Preliminary Plan Framework. This document establishes a preliminary direction for the Master Plan, based on input from and analysis of:
  • Community and stakeholder input received to date (including responses to Questionnaire #1: Vision and Values);
  • Demographic, population, and other trends and forces in Clark County;
  • Existing Clark County Master Plan Elements;
  • NRS requirements; and
  • Numerous related plans and studies for the County and region.
The Preliminary Plan Framework represents a key milestone in the Transform Clark County process. This questionnaire is intended as an opportunity to “check-in” with stakeholders and the community on three key questions: Have we heard you correctly? Are we on the right track? Are we missing anything?

While we have included excerpts in the questionnaire for context, we recommend that you review the Preliminary Plan Framework before you begin. This questionnaire will remain open until 11:59 PM on October 31, 2020. Thank you for your participation!
