In 2023, the Board of County Commissioners approved and established the short-term rental (STR) pilot program, which was set to expire at the end of 2025. In efforts to obtain public input on experiences with the program, the Board approved a four-month extension. During this time, we will gather data and feedback from a survey and a town hall that is currently planned in early 2026. Read about the regulations and the past process.
