The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea is currently developing an Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP). This plan will provide an important road map for the preservation and maintenance of Carmel-by-the-Sea’s urban forest over the next 40 years. The City has contracted Davey Resources Group, Inc. to facilitate its UFMP development. Your participation in this survey is essential to ensuring that the UFMP reflects the community’s vision for the future of the urban forest.

The urban forest includes all of the trees in Carmel-by-the-Sea, including those on public and private property. The urban forest provides significant environmental benefits and is vital to maintaining the character of the community as “a village in the forest by the sea.”

Your response to this survey will help us more clearly understand community values and the information you share will guide the development of the UFMP. This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please only complete one survey, whether a paper version or online. The closing date is Monday, November 13 at 12:00 PM.

Thank you for your participation!
