Introduction

The Statement of Community Involvement, or SCI, sets out the way the council will involve the local community, stakeholders and statutory bodies in the preparation and revision of Planning documents including Plan-making documents, Supplementary Planning Documents and how to consult on other applications. It identifies who will be involved, and when and how they will be involved.

The consultation will be open for an 8-week period from 15 October 2025 to 10 December 2025.

After the consultation period, the Local Planning Authority will consider all the comments received and amend the Statement of Community Involvement as appropriate.
