Your Input, Your Plan
The Coorong District is more than just a place - it’s a vibrant region of rural communities built on connection, resilience, and shared purpose.
We want the Plan to be shaped by the voices of those who live, work and contribute to our region.
Council is inviting feedback from the community on its draft Community Vision Plan for 2026–2030.
The draft Community Vision Plan has been shaped by the voices of local residents and is firmly grounded in what the community has said matters most to them for the future of the district.
The Plan has been developed following an extensive community engagement process, with 575 community members contributing more than 5,000 ideas, thoughts and aspirations in late 2025. The feedback has helped to drive the Plan’s priorities, focus areas and strategies.
The four-year Plan will continue to focus on the key themes of Community, Economy, Environment, Infrastructure and Leadership, with practical and achievable actions included that reflect aspirations expressed by residents
Community members are encouraged to review the draft Plan and provide feedback by attending a community workshop, completing an online submission form, or lodging written submissions by mail or in person
The draft Community Vision Plan 2026-2030 will be uploaded to Council's website on Monday 23 February 2026 and can be viewed at: www.coorong.sa.gov.au/ CVP2030
