The majority of the questions in this survey focus on treatment using medical procedures (BPA and PEA) rather than drug therapy, as if patients are suitable for them, in most cases they are more effective. Patients are always able to express preferences and make informed choices.
Please note the nature of some of the questions in this survey may be sensitive. Some will discuss ‘mortality rates’ of different procedures – which means the chances of death from the procedure, or from the disease. If you would prefer not to answer these questions, please feel free to skip them. If you are affected by any of the questions in this survey, please contact your specialist centre or the PHA UK.
Please also note you might not be a candidate for some or any of the treatments that are described in the questionnaire.
