Welcome to the Sterile Processing Management Job Analysis Survey

The purpose of this survey is to identify tasks and knowledge reflective of the professional role of Sterile Processing Managers. The results of this survey will be used to help develop the specifications for the Certified Sterile Processing Management (CSPM) certification exam.

Your individual responses will be kept confidential and will be combined with those of other respondents. Only staff persons from PSI Services and CBSPD will have access to the data collected. Aggregated data from this survey will be published in a report that summarizes the process used to develop the specifications for the credential exam. There are three sections in this survey. Section 1 and section 2 contains the knowledge and task statements in which you will be asked to provide ratings as they relate to your job as a Sterile Processing Manager. Section 3 of the survey contains demographic questions about your practice and background.

The survey will likely require 15 minutes to complete. You can complete each part of the survey in separate sittings at the same computer. Please be aware that you must completely finish a page before clicking on "Next" to save your responses up to that point. There is no limit on the number of times you can use the link to go back to the survey before clicking on "Done" to submit your survey.

The deadline for completion of the survey is 5 PM (5:00) Central Time (UTC-5) on November 15th.

Those who complete the survey may choose to enter a raffle for one of five $25 Visa gift cards. Your name and e-mail address are required to participate in the raffle. If you choose to participate in the raffle, your contact information will be used for this purpose only.
