Poll: Selecting the Focus of a New Educational Native Plant Garden

CRWC will be planting an educational native plant garden. Any time native plants are planted, they provide benefits to local wildlife, water quality, and pollinators.

What topic would you like to see reflected in our garden and on signage?

Pollinator focused garden – featuring pollinator powerhouse plants, this garden will target all of Michigan’s pollinators from birds to butterflies to bees to other insect pollinators.

Four seasons garden - this garden and sign will focus on how pollinators and other wildlife depends on native plants in spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Invasive look alikes - This garden will help residents learn about why invasive plants are harmful to the environment and what native plants look similar to the invasive ones (and can be used to replace them).

Giitigan - An indigenous focused garden to provide a space to learn, honor, and celebrate indigenous culture while providing benefits for wildlife.
