Background

TROG Cancer Research is inviting applications from regional, rural and remote hospitals, clinical and research site staff to support virtual participation in the 2026 CREW on Tuesday 17 March 2026.

Thanks to the support of the Community Underwriting Small Grants Scheme, we are able to offer a limited number of free registrations for virtual attendance at the one-day workshop through the Equity in Action project. This aims to ensure staff from regional, rural and remote communities can attend the workshop, bringing important practical insights into how trials are delivered within their communities, and ensuring representation from a broader cross-section of Australians.

The Clinical Research Education Workshop

The Clinical Research Education Workshop (CREW) is a full-day professional development forum for clinical trial coordinators, data managers, and other clinical research professionals. It delivers advanced education in key areas such as clinical trial regulation, governance, and operational best practice as well as valuable opportunities for participants to expand their knowledge, strengthen trial conduct, and network with peers across the sector. This year's workshop will provide a TransCelerate-accredited training program focusing on the latest revision of ICH GCP E6 (R3), to enhance your knowledge about clinical trial standards.

Each successful application will cover the recipient’s CREW virtual registration fee.
