Hello and welcome to our 19th annual survey of carried interest and compensation for private equity funds.

This survey is confidential. I am the only person who will see your completed survey. No names of firms or individuals will appear in the published survey results. I've never violated this confidentiality in our 18 prior surveys, and I never will.

The survey is 33 questions long and most of them are easy to answer. Some are a bit more difficult to answer but, all in, I'd say you're looking at a maximum of 20 minutes to complete the survey.

We will compile all the survey responses and publish the results at the end of October. If you participate and complete the survey you will receive a free participant copy of the results.

We had exactly 327 funds participate in last year's survey and with some luck, I hope to surpass that number this year.
