Public Consultation on the draft COPD Clinical Care Standard

Background

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) is seeking comment on the draft Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Clinical Care Standard.

The draft clinical care standard includes 10 quality statements that describe the care that should be offered, and a set of indicators to support healthcare services with local monitoring.

The quality statements focus on priority areas of care for quality improvement and are based on current clinical guidelines and evidence.

Each quality statement is explained for consumers, clinicians and healthcare services.

Instructions for completing the survey
The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Only one survey can be completed from the same device. You can exit the survey and return at any point prior to completion.
The survey will close at 11:59pm AEDT on Monday 18 December 2023.
