Transportation Needs of Senior Wayland Residents

The Wayland Council on Aging (COA) is asking Wayland seniors and those who care for them to share information on seniors’ transportation needs to help us plan transportation programs and services. Nearly 30% of Wayland residents are aged 60 and older. Transportation challenges may include:
  • No longer driving
  • No longer driving to certain places (like Boston) or in certain conditions (like nighttime or snow)
  • Not driving home from certain types of medical appointments (cataract surgery, for example)
  • Need for special assistance (mobility challenges, for example)
We want to know how you get where you need to go, and about possible challenges you may face. You do not need to give your name; all responses will be confidential. If you need help completing this questionnaire or have questions, please leave a message at 508-358-2990 and we will return your call. If you prefer to complete a paper copy, please stop by, or call the Council on Aging. Thanks for your participation.

Please complete the survey by Monday, November 6.
