Call for Nominations

The Maine Life Sciences Center (MLSC)—established by Governor Janet Mills and housed within the Maine Technology Institute (MTI)—is assembling its inaugural Advisory Board.

The Center’s mission is to align Maine’s research, industry, education, and investment communities to grow an innovation-driven life sciences economy that fuels good jobs, discovery, and shared prosperity.

We are seeking engaged, hands-on members who are eager to roll up their sleeves and help build this initiative from the ground up. This is a working board where members contribute time, expertise, and networks to help organize, convene, and deliver early results for Maine’s life sciences economy.

Board members meet quarterly, with the possibility of monthly meetings during the Center’s startup phase. Members are expected to participate in subcommittees or workstreams, and act as visible champions for the sector.

In addition to the Advisory Board, the Center will also establish working groups around key subject areas to engage a broader set of experts and partners in advancing this work.

Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged. Nominations open through Friday, November 28th at 5p.
