1. About the Program and EOI Process

Following a successful pilot program in 2023, Community Legal Centres Queensland (CLCQ) is again facilitating our bespoke training program for current and emerging managers and leaders working in the Queensland CLC sector. The program aims to develop your skills in management and leadership, and help you understand your leadership style to build and maintain a high performing team and create a successful and sustainable workplace.

The program will run for 6 days (3 x 2 day modules) across a 3 month period. Participants must be able to attend each module, as the content will expand on learnings from the previous session. Attendance must be in person and attendees cannot be substituted across your centre.

Dates:
  • Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 August 2024 (Gold Coast hinterland overnight retreat)
  • Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 September 2024 (Brisbane)
  • Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 October 2024 (Brisbane)

Cost:
$1750 per person (includes one night of accommodation for the first module only, catering, and training materials. Travel costs are not included). Centres located outside Greater Brisbane will be eligible for a discounted rate of $1500 per person.

Participants will be provided with materials to review and prepare in between the modules, and will be encouraged to connect with each other outside of the modules.

If you are interested in attending, please complete the below EOI to assist CLCQ in determining the cohort who may best benefit from the program as places are limited. CLCQ aims to allow broad participation across CLCs, and will prioritise one participant per centre. However, centres are welcome to put forward more than one EOI.

EOIs close at 5pm, Tuesday 7 May 2024.

CLCQ will respond regarding the outcome of your EOI by Monday 20 May 2024.
