During this session, representatives of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine will present:
- the current challenges and gaps in Ukraine’s roadworthiness testing system;
- Ukraine’s roadmap for reform and approximation to the EU acquis, including the implementation of Directive 2014/45/EU;
- specific areas where CITA members’ expertise could be particularly valuable, such as:
- authorization and supervision of testing centres,
- legal status, training and certification of inspectors,
- digital solutions (test result recording, photo/video evidence, data exchange),
- supervision, enforcement and integrity models;
- potential opportunities for CITA members to engage with the Ukrainian reform process in the medium term.
