Challenge Family Awards 2025 Survey

It's time for the 2025 Challenge Family Awards and voting is open!

The races nominated for each category are listed in no particular order and are based on the athlete post-race survey results from 2025. Following your votes, the winners will be announced on Friday 6 February at our annual Global Race Directors Meeting. Voting opens on Monday 15 December at 8:00am CET and closes on Sunday 4 January at 11:59pm CET.

You don't need to vote for every category, just press the vote button without selecting a race to skip a category. The only category we ask everyone to vote for is the Race of the Year which is the final question in the survey.

Challenge Xiamen - This is a triathlon-made venue with everything centralised around Mei Feng park with finish line, transition and amazing expo. It is just two minute walk from the official hotel that is located at the beach where the race starts, with many other international hotels within walking distance, plus the venue is only 30 mins from the international airport

Challenge Peguera-Mallorca - An island paradise with golden beaches and everything centrally located for both athlete and spectator convenience plus the ideal location for a post-race holiday with the family

Challenge Fortaleza - Mix long golden sandy beaches along with vibrant Brazilian culture and delicious local cuisine, set in a city where it seems everyone either swims, bikes, runs or does all three! Easy to reach in Norther Brazil and a must-visit destination

Challenge Vieux Boucau - With its unique marine lake, endless wild beaches and pine forests, combined with the convenience of the Vieux Boucau village offers an almost made-for-triathon location. Plus it's only a short distance from the famous French Bordeaux wine region and two international airports

Challenge Salou-Costa Daurada - An idyllic setting on the shores of the Mediterranean along the palm tree-lined boulevards of Spain's Costa Daurada, Salou is the ideal destination for athletes and families alike with everything within walking distance of the race village, plenty of family friendly activities and a short drive from Barcelona international airport.

SAIL Challenge Québec - Quebec City is one of Canada's must-visits destinations, and Challenge Québec is set right in the heart of this iconic city with a course that takes athletes through 400 years of history in a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
