Application Information
The City is currently accepting applications for one (1) Public Member in the following area:
- Resilience and Natural Resources - to support the City in protecting and conserving ecosystems and natural resources now and into the future.
Sought after expertise in these areas may include, but will not be limited to:
• Engineers (e.g., civil, water resources)
• Climatologists
• Ecologists
• Freshwater Biologists
• Physical Scientists
• Planners, MCIP
• Architects
• Other – Demonstrated Relevant Experience

This Panel provides City Council with expertise, opinion, and perspective about environmental and sustainability matters, including the City of St. John’s energy intensity, greenhouse gas emissions, adaptation, resilience, energy poverty, and environment. Additionally, the Panel is responsible for assisting in the progress of environmental and sustainability matters in the City of St. John’s. Eligibility
Preference will be given to residents of St. John’s. Public members must have certification, accreditation, affiliation and/or demonstrated expertise and experience in matters of the environment and/or sustainability. Exceptions may be made by the selecting body as appropriate.
