Voices for Change: Systemic Advocacy Development Learning Series
Thank you for your interest in applying to join the Voices for Change - Systemic Advocacy Development Learning Series (SADLS), co-led by Mental Health Carers NSW and Mental Health Carers Australia.
This facilitated learning series supports the development of lived experience mental health advocates within NSW, with a focus on systemic change. We particularly welcome unpaid mental health carers, and people with dual lived experience as both carers and consumers, who are ready to strengthen their advocacy voice, connect with peers, and influence how mental health systems and services are shaped.
The training program consists of six interactive 2-hour sessions delivered via Zoom.
Training session dates:
Session 1 - Thurs Feb 26, 2026 (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
Session 2 - Thurs March 12, 2026 (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
Session 3 - Thurs March 26, 2026 (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
Session 4 - Thurs April 23, 2026 (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
Session 5 - Thurs May 21, 2026 (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
Session 6 - Thurs June 18, 2026 (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
