CARTI Summer 2026 Job Shadow Application (unpaid)

Thank you for your interest in job shadowing at CARTI. A job shadow is for students who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Students will get an opportunity to observe the work of healthcare professionals in a variety of different fields. Please complete the following application to be considered for a job shadow experience. Student must be 16 years old to job shadow at CARTI. Application deadline: April 30.

High School Students (Ages 16 and older) may job shadow 1 - 3 days.
Adults (18 years and older who have completed high school) may job shadow up to 30 days.
Visiting physicians and scientists may job shadow up to 30 days.

We will contact you regarding next steps in the job shadow application process. All job shadows require completion of an online orientation and completed attestations forms. Students who are age 18+ and shadowing up to 30 days will be required to complete a criminal background check and submission of immunization records. Once we receive your application, we will email you further details about this process. Please note that securing a job shadow experience could take up to six weeks if matched with a sponsor.
