Filling this questionnaire
  • We advise you find a quiet place and use a desktop or laptop to fill in this application.
  • Provide as much detail as required in each question: descriptions and publicly accessible URLs for your research and projects (Note: Do not share links to private servers or private google drives.)
  • You may exit and return to the application as long as the application has not been SUBMITTED and your browser allows.
  • Once you submit your answers, you will not be able to return to edit the answers.
  • Once the deadline is reached, non submitted applications will not be considered, if not complete or submitted.

Structure of the questionnaire
This application has 23 questions. Some questions are multiple-choice; others are short-answer questions, and one requires upload of a file.All questions require a response.
  • General questions and pre-requisites about the course you are applying to.
  • Personal Details including name and contact email address, and demographics. (Note: We advise to provide a personal, non-institutional email address that you can access at all times. CAIDP will link this email ID to your application, admission, enrollment. If you are selected, this email will be the unique identifier across our learning systems (Slack, Zoom, Moodle, Certifier.io).
  • Professional and educational background questions, including institution of affiliation, sector of activity, and referee.
  • Background in AI Policy questions, including research, advocacy, and projects at intersection of AI policy, human rights, democratic values, rule of law.
  • Statement of Interest: Between 100-200 words.
  • Program Expectations questions, including professional statement acknowledgment.
  • Upload your CV question (Upload PDF, 1 MB max)
  • Submission Page and final classification questions.
  • Thank you window.

Submitting the questionnaire:
  • Before pressing submit, you will have an option to request a copy of the answers to your email.
  • A pop-up will appear with the message 'Thank you for your submission'. Please also take a screenshot as evidence.
  • Once you click SUBMIT, the questionnaire will automatically close, and you will not be able to return to the application.

  • Submit only one application for this cycle to ensure your candidacy is considered. Duplicate applications are discouraged.

What happens after submitting?
The application period closes on May 15 midnight ET, when the committee will start their review. The outcome of the application review will be emailed to each applicant by the second week of July 2026.


Onboarding information will be emailed to admitted applicants one week prior to the start of classes (September 9, 2026)
