Student Poster Project Showcase Submission
Please follow these guidelines when submitting a poster:
· Submissions must be sports field focused and present either industry research or a case study that explains your project’s purpose and significance.
· You certify that your poster and related materials are factually accurate.
· You warrant that the poster and related materials are your own original work; are in the public domain or are used with proper permission or fall under the "fair use" exemption-criticism, news reporting, commentary, teaching or research.
· You verify that your poster and materials do not infringe on copyrights.
Presenters are not permitted under any circumstances to promote any product, company, or service within the poster project showcase. Both SFMA and the presenters share responsibility for ensuring that information presented is unbiased and accurate. SFMA will NOT tolerate the following:
· Research data must be presented objectively. Results may not be biased to favor a single company, product, or service nor portray competitors negatively. If specific products, companies or services are included, the data must be comprehensive and balanced. For example, when discussing pesticide effectiveness, results from multiple products should be shown rather than highlighting only one.
· Promotional content is not permitted. Posters and presentations may not advertise or endorse individual products, companies, or services.
· Negative remarks or implications about specific companies or products, whether explicit or implied, are prohibited.
· Any participant who engages in threatening, unlawful, or otherwise unacceptable behavior at the conference will be prohibited from presenting at future SFMA events.
Compensation:
