The City of Buffalo is in the process of preparing its Five-Year Consolidated Plan for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and we have engaged the firm of Mullin & Lonergan to assist us in this endeavor.  The Consolidated Plan will serve as a blueprint for the expenditures of federal funds in the City of Buffalo from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2025.

As part of this five-year planning process, the City of Buffalo is required to identify the housing and community development needs for low-moderate income persons and households, as well as persons with special needs such as disabilities, substance abuse, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, the elderly, etc.  Your participation in this planning process is important if the City is to develop an accurate strategy that addresses the priority needs of these groups and individuals.

A draft plan will be available for public display on or about June 15, 2020. Should you have questions about this survey please contact the Office of Strategic Planning via phone 716-851-4769.
