Thank you for your interest in Buddy Up! Through this program, you will join a network of current Graduate and Professional students who want to meet new people and make connections with peers across campus. Once you create a PUBLIC profile with a PHOTO of yourself on the Canopy platform, you will be paired every two weeks with a new buddy and have the chance to meet up for a free coffee on campus and attend a quarterly social event.
Please note: Buddy Up is meant to facilitate networking, mentoring and friend connections and is not to be used as a dating platform. The program runs during Autumn, Winter and Spring Quarters. We'll be in touch soon!
Please note that you are never required to meet or engage with your assigned buddy. Please gauge your personal comfort with your assigned buddy and pace yourself as you see fit. Your safety is important to us so please be sure to download the UChicago Safe mobile app and always be thoughtful of your safety when making arrangements with your buddy.
