The Town of Holden Beach is currently making improvements to the Block Q project area. As this important gateway location continues to take shape, the Town is seeking public input on what additional improvements would be appropriate in the future. Located near the bridge and the Intracoastal Waterway, the Block Q project area offers an opportunity to create a welcoming, accessible public space that supports community gatherings, coastal recreation, and the needs of residents, property owners, businesses, and visitors. Your feedback will help guide future planning for this area.

This image above shows the Block Q project area of Holden Beach, just east of Holden Beach Road near the bridge entrance. Bounded by Jordan Boulevard NW and surrounding local streets, the site sits between nearby commercial uses to the north and residential neighborhoods to the east and south.

Its prominent position at a main gateway to the island makes it a highly visible and accessible location with strong connections to the surrounding community.
