The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is seeking expressions of interest from community members to join the Barwon Women's and Children's Community Consultative Committee.

- provide advice on local health needs and expectations
- represent the community’s diverse views, and
- provide advice on emerging issues, opportunities and priorities of the local community.
The Community Consultative Committee will be established throughout the planning stage of the new Barwon Women’s and Children’s.
The committee will hold its inaugural meeting in mid-2023 and will meet approximately four times, ending its formal role when the design is complete.
The member for Geelong, Christine Couzens will chair the Community Consultative Committee.
Selection process
When applications close, an independent recruiter will filter and shortlist the responses and may phone applicants for more information. The selection process aims to ensure the committee has representation from a broad cross-section of the community and a balance of gender, age, interests, culture and diverse needs.
Expressions of Interest close at 9am on 16 June 2023.
Successful applicants will be advised by late July.
