Application Materials are Due March 31, 2026
The Wisconsin Architects Foundation (WAF) has helped build a better Wisconsin by funding scholarships, grants, and public programming in the field of architecture for the last 70 years.
We are pleased to offer a merit scholarship to an outstanding Wisconsin Technical College System student pursuing a degree in architecture. Typical awards are $500-$1,000. Eligible students must enroll in the 2026/27 academic year and must register for architecture coursework during the same year. Scholarship recipients are invited to attend the 2026 Conference + Expo on Architecture, where they will be recognized at the annual AIA WI meeting.
To apply for this scholarship, please submit the following:
1. A one-page resume
2. A brief essay, no more than 500 words, describing your leadership potential, community and/or AIA involvement, career goals/plans after graduation, financial need, and any other information that will enable the committee to learn more about you.
Deadline for receipt of materials is March 31, 2026. The Scholarship Committee of the Wisconsin Architects Foundation will notify candidates by Friday, April 10. Awards are for the 2026/27 academic year and will be deposited directly to the student’s account at the institution prior to the start of the academic year.
