2026-2027 Team Auditions Questionnaire

General Questionnaire

In preparation for the 2026/2027 competition season, we need to know each dancer's plans for auditions and hopes for the upcoming competition season. If you are a parent filling this out, please complete it WITH your dancer.

We have two competitive tracks to choose from - SIGNATURE and STARS. STARS is a beginning/intermediate level program for those who want to ease in to the competitive world and be a part of a team, with minimal time commitment involved. SIGNATURE is an intermediate/advanced level program, for dancers who are 100% all in, and live and breathe dance. SIGNATURE requires more of a commitment, offering more dance training and extra competition and class opportunities, with a very strong sense of community.

This questionnaire is intended for all auditioning dancers going into grades 1-3 (both Signature and Stars Teams), as well as all prospective Signature dancers going into grades 4-12.

IMPORTANT Reminder: For dancers going into grades 1-3, there is a combined audition process for STARS and SIGNATURE Teams, and dancers must complete this survey, regardless of which track they'd like to be considered for. If you're in grades 4-12 and would like to be considered for either the STARS or SIGNATURE team, complete this questionnaire and attend the SIGNATURE auditions only, not the STARS audition. If you only want to be considered for STARS, there is no need to fill out this survey.

Within the SIGNATURE Program, we offer six groups, referred to as "Headquarters," which can compete Ballet-Based, Tap, and/or Hip Hop:
- Baseline: Grades 1-3
- Reckless: Grades 3-5
- Custom Cut: Grades 5-7
- Mezzo: Grades 6-9
- Avant Garde: Grades 9-12
- Elite: Grades 10-12

GRADES 1-3:
- Dancers going into grades 1-3 for both Stars and Signature team tracks MUST attend auditions for all styles listed below for placement into either program, even if not planning to compete all of them.
- If you are auditioning for Signature or would like to be considered for either team track, please select specific styles you'd like to be consider for, even though you must attend all style auditions.

ALL:
- The "Ballet-Based Styles" Audition determines placement for Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary/Lyrical AND Modern/Open pieces. If auditioning for these disciplines and you're offered a spot, you will be placed in the styles that are the most appropriate fit for you, and the groups as a whole.
- Tap and Hip Hop have their own separate auditions and placement is determined from those specific auditions.
