Downtown Coral Gables Partnership Stakeholder Survey

The City of Coral Gables is exploring the feasibility of creating a Downtown Coral Gables Partnership – a new way for downtown property and business owners to collaborate with the city to keep downtown vibrant, competitive, and thriving. The feasibility process focuses on identifying shared priorities and understanding what enhanced services or improvements would be most valuable for the future of Downtown Coral Gables.

Partnerships like this, used in many downtowns across the country, allow for a self-imposed and self-governed property assessment that raises funds for services that go above and beyond what the city can provide alone. These can include enhanced maintenance and beautification, placemaking and public space improvements, events and marketing, business support, and other initiatives that strengthen the local economy and improve the downtown experience. These services are supplemental to existing city services, and do not replace basic government functions.

This survey is part of a fact-finding process to understand community priorities and assess the level of interest in establishing such a partnership. Your input will help shape what this model could look like, what services it should focus on, and how it might best serve Downtown Coral Gables.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your perspective and for your commitment to the future of Downtown Coral Gables.
