Hall of Fame 2026 Judging Survey

Thank you for serving as a judge for the 2026 Fleet Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame inductees have over 10 years of fleet experience and are recognized for the "indelible mark each has made within the commercial fleet management profession,” according to the awards criteria.

The Fleet Hall of Fame is owned and produced by Automotive Fleet magazine and is sponsored by the Automotive Fleet and Leasing Association (AFLA). Eligible nominees must have at least 10 years fleet management experience and have contributed significantly to the industry. Inaugurated in 2008 with 20 founding honorees, three more will be selected for the 2026 award.

Each year, the awards are sponsored by AFLA and presented by Automotive Fleet at the AFLA Conference on September 27–30 in Las Vegas, NV.

The nominees are listed in no particular order. Ballots are due August 15.

1.Elsie Lucia — The Estée Lauder Companies

Elsie Lucia completed a 35-year fleet career, including nearly 18 years leading fleet and purchasing services at The Estée Lauder Companies. Throughout her career, she held leadership roles at Alfa-Laval/DeLaval, Unilever Bestfoods, and Estée Lauder while becoming a respected mentor and advocate for the fleet profession. Lucia also served as president of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA), chaired the NAFA New Jersey Chapter, and held numerous advisory board positions, helping shape the industry while supporting the next generation of fleet professionals.

2.John Dmochowsky — Mondelēz International

John Dmochowsky spent 19 years leading fleet operations at Kraft and Mondelēz International, where he built the company's global fleet organization after the corporate separation. Managing approximately 10,100 vehicles worldwide, he led initiatives that reduced global fleet spending by 21% in one year and lowered total cost of ownership by an additional 7% over the following three years. A 2017 Automotive Fleet Professional Fleet Manager of the Year, Dmochowsky has remained an active mentor and industry speaker throughout his career.

3.Lee Miller — Boehringer Ingelheim

Lee Miller spent more than 40 years with Boehringer Ingelheim, overseeing executive, sales, and animal health fleet operations while helping shape fleet policy and vehicle specifications. Named Automotive Fleet's 2012 Professional Fleet Manager of the Year, Miller also served on multiple supplier advisory boards and became known throughout the fleet community for her collaborative leadership, mentorship, and lasting industry relationships.

4.Frank Memolo — Teva Pharmaceuticals

Frank Memolo has more than 40 years of fleet experience spanning both fleet management and the supplier community. He introduced innovative programs that improved operating efficiency and fuel economy, including early adoption of downsized engines and diesel vehicles before alternative fuel strategies became widespread. Beyond his operational achievements, Memolo has been a longtime mentor and industry leader, serving as chair of the NAFA New Jersey Chapter, AFLA Education Chair, and on multiple industry advisory boards.

5.Roger Peterson — Rentokil

Roger Peterson has more than 20 years of fleet leadership experience and led the complex integration of the Rentokil and Terminix fleets following their 2022 merger. He standardized fleet policies, supplier strategies, vehicle specifications, and operating processes while maintaining uninterrupted service across one of the world's largest pest-control fleets. Peterson is also recognized for developing scalable fleet operations and mentoring future fleet leaders.

6.Mark F. Petersen — Syneos Health

Mark F. Petersen has more than 40 years of experience across corporate fleet management and the supplier community, leading fleet operations for organizations including Syneos Health, Getinge, Panasonic, and Allied Universal. Throughout his career, he modernized fleet policies, improved safety programs, led major fleet transitions, and managed large, decentralized operations. Petersen has also been a longtime leader within NAFA and AFLA, receiving AFLA's President's Award and mentoring fleet professionals for decades.

7.Dave Durepo — Superior Chevrolet

Dave Durepo has spent 47 years in the commercial fleet industry, building a reputation as an expert in fleet sales and vehicle delivery. He served seven years on the AFLA Board of Directors, led the association during its 50th anniversary as president, and received AFLA's President's Award. In 2019, Durepo co-founded the Canadian Fleet Summit, helping strengthen collaboration between fleet professionals across the United States and Canada while remaining a trusted resource for the industry.
