BHDC Summer Internship 2026 Application (Pre-Survey)

Dear Student:

Thank you for your interest in the Brooklyn Health Promotion Summer Internship Program (BHPSIP) 2026. This 4-week summer internship is scheduled to take place July 6th-July 30th, 2026, Monday-Thursday from 9:45am-3:30pm. The 16th Annual Brooklyn Health Promotion Summer Internship Program is a community-engaged research program for high school students that introduces the fundamentals of public health and health disparities research. Participating students will receive a $750 stipend and a letter of community service.

The program will be held in-person at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, NY.

Please complete this electronic application to be considered for enrollment in the program. This application contains about 30 questions and should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You may exit and re-enter the application as many times as you need to, until it is completed, providing that you are using the same computer. Only your most recent submission will be reviewed.

This application must be completed and submitted by May 17th, 2026. Only complete applications will be reviewed and accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Selected applicants will be notified in June 2026.

Once applications have been submitted and reviewed, you will be notified of the outcome. If accepted, you will be directed to complete the next steps of the on-boarding process.
