The Center for regional and municipality studies at Bifröst University is currently conducting a study on behalf of Vestfjarðastofa and the Municipality of Vesturbyggð.
The aim of the project is to examine various factors relating to the image of the newly merged municipality of Vesturbyggð and how residents believe successful community development can best be achieved.

Participation in this survey is voluntary, and you are not obligated to answer the survey or individual questions. No information that can be traced to individuals will be published, in accordance with Icelandic law No. 90/2018 on data protection and the processing of personal data.
All research data and analysis of results are handled by specialists at the research center.

Most questions are standardized, except for the open-ended questions at the end, where residents’ opinions on municipal matters are especially important.
