You are invited to participate in a one-hour online support sessions for educators and community workers supporting military children currently based in Cyprus, in response to emerging need among military families affected by recent events.
These are therapist-led information and guidance sessions which will be delivered online using Zoom.
This short, evidence-informed programme is designed for educators, school staff, and community group facilitators supporting children affected by conflict, displacement, or other critical incidents. The programme provides practical, stabilising strategies that adults can use immediately within classrooms and group environments to promote emotional safety, regulation, and resilience.
The programme equips educators and community professionals with tools to:
• Understand children’s stress and trauma responses
• Respond calmly and supportively to distressed behaviour
• Create emotionally safe learning and group environments
• Teach simple coping and regulation skills
• Strengthen peer and community support systems
